Freeze maraschinos, then dip them in warm, melted chocolate—an instant, decadent chocolatey cherry treat! Especially good with dark chocolate.
Drop two or three (or more!) maraschinos into ginger ale to create a Shirley Temple. Or add a few to your favorite cola with a bit of maraschino juice to create your own cherry cola.
And remember the maraschino when you fix an ice cream sundae, cupcakes or a favorite dessert. It’s just not special if there’s no cherry on top!
Try using dried cherries instead of raisins or dried cranberries … in cookie recipes, sprinkled on salads, mixed with other fruit, or topping your morning cereal.
Flavorful canned dark sweet cherries make a luscious cobbler or crisp. Use your favorite recipe and bake up a family favorite.
